Name: Aokakesu Shukuen (Aoka for short)
Age: 12yrs
Gender: Female
Faction: Outsider
Affiliation: Light

Ace Monster/Key Card: Fortune Lady Light/Fortune Fairy Hikari
Deck Type: Fortune Lady - Focusing on the use of Future Visions, manipulation of the field is possible with the Fortune Lady skills. Apply a few Spellbooks and this Spellcaster-type deck isn't half bad at managing their resources.

Character Skills: Spellbound Future - At the start of your first turn of the duel, you may pay 500 Life Points to activate the “Future Visions” Field Spell from your deck.

Name of Fortune - The monsters “Spellbook Magician of Prophecy”, “Magical Exemplar”, and “Solitaire Magician” are treated as “Fortune Lady” monsters at all times while in your hand, deck, graveyard, field, or banished.

Personality: Well, let’s see. She’s ten years old, sorta, so she’s very childish. She thinks that everything in life is a game, and that the whole world is her toybox. The only issue is that she's sick, but despite all of this, she tries to see the better aspect of things. She's glad to just have a chance at being alive, and looks up to her big sister like she's the greatest person in the world.

Biography: Aokakesu was a sickly child ever since birth, however, due to financial reasons, the family couldn’t give her all of the treatment that she probably needed. It was a harsh life, growing up sick and unable to play with other kids her age, but Aoka always had her sister Sukikyo. It wasn’t a surprise that the two became very close early on, and with Aoka’s condition, Duel Monsters was one of the few things the child could do without putting much stress on her very frail body. It didn’t involve running around where one could trip and scratch themselves, break something, overexert her body, etc. It didn’t involve going outside a whole lot where any disease floating by could attack her weakened immune system. So, it wasn’t a surprise that Aoka was happy when she could play with her sister. Aokakesu’s deck involved a very simple deck of Fortune Fairies, something cute and adorable much like the child herself. It really wasn’t a competitive deck, much less a complete one, but she enjoyed every game against her sister with only her little fairies by her side.

Despite their situation, the family did their best to take care of the girls and support their dreams. Sukikyo, being eight years older than Aokakesu, was the true golden child. She was the one who had potential to go all the way to the Pro Leagues and as such, be able to support the family and her sister. Aokakesu, knowing that it was unlikely to have a dream like that herself, did anything and everything to help Sukikyo do her best. It was all that Aoka could do given her state: be her sister’s emotional support.

And it seemed to work. Sukikyo was so close to becoming a Pro Duelist. She was but one duel away, her debut in the Pro League Arena, when the Cube came into existence. Sukikyo was eighteen at the time, Aokakesu about seven years old. They lived in the west part of the city... but they were spared. Luckily on that one day, Sukikyo was taking Aoka to a different part of the city for what little treatments the family could afford when the West City were turned to Ruins. Their parents, however, weren't so lucky. So now it was all up to Sukikyo to care for the two of them, which meant her debut in the Pro League was that much more important.

In case you were wondering, it was through the power of the Cube that changed her Fortune Fairies into a more complete deck known as the Fortune Ladies, though she still had the Fairies. Aoka didn't notice the change to her deck at first since there was simply no time for her to duel when having to find a new home and her sister's debut. If there ever was time, she hid the Fortune Ladies for reasons unknown. But at what cost? The girl's condition started to worsen after the Cube's initial appearance, but she kept her deteriorating health a secret, not wanting to worry the only person in the world that was taking care of her.
