Support of the Coliseum - Once per turn, at the end of either player's Battle Phase, you may pay 500 Life Points to shuffle one "Gladiator Beast" monster back into your deck and Special Summon one "Gladiator Beast" with a different name than the card returned as if it were summoned by a "Gladiator Beast" effect, even if the original card did not attack or was not attacked that turn.

Personality: Quiet at first, Akane is actually very friendly and willing to be there for anyone who needs her help or simply wants to talk. She especially loves dueling, and will often ask for one as "payment" for her help. She has a strong sense of justice and always tries to see the good in others, giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. She refuses to let anyone see her cry and will always put on a brave face when in public. The only dark feelings she holds onto is from her history, and for her brother, Yamiyo. She feels betrayed by him and despite him becoming a Pro, she only wants to beat him, to let him know the pain she's felt all this time.

Biography: Akane is named after the brilliant red color of her eyes that seems to run in the family. She one day aims to be a Pro Duelist, after finishing her years at Neo Superbia Academy, but not for the reason that one may think. Let's start with when she was younger, living in a family with a wonderful mother, caring father, and generous older brother, Yamiyo. They were a happy family, but at about age nine, a murderer intruded into their home, killing their parents. Yamiyo was nowhere to be found during the incident so he escaped death without having to see it. Akane, however, had to bear witness to the murders as she hid in a closet, listening to her parents scream before their untimely demise. When the murderer had made his escape, she left her hiding place and cried out in despair at the bloodshed.

When the police came, the decision about the children had to be made. Yamiyo, being the eldest, inherited the fortune of the family, but Akane was separated from her brother due to the mental trauma and her very young age. There was no way that a thirteen-year-old could care properly for the traumatized nine-year-old. So Akane was put into a special care facility before being adopted by another family, though she chose to keep her maiden name of Dōsetsu. During these years with this new family, it wasn't all bad. She still had therapy every so often, and the family itself was nice: a loving mother and father who couldn't have children of their own. They were willing to give the girl all that she desired, but what she desired couldn't simply be given. She wanted to return to her brother's side after he became a Pro Duelist, and prayed day in and day out that he would one day find her. But no such luck. Yamiyo never came...

So she vowed that she would just have to go to him. Akane got into dueling, using a set of monsters that relied on one another to bring out their fullest potential. Just like family should do. Her Gladiator Beasts were a force to be reckoned with, and soon she earned a place at Neo Superbia Academy. Just a few more steps and she would reach Pro Dueling, where she would one day track down the brother that had all but forgotten her.
