Deck: Telepathic Tuning - Standard Psychic deck with monster banishment and life point manipulation. Banishes own monsters for activating effects and stores them for later use as an external monster resource for Synchro summoning and field swarming. Balances combination of self-life point infliction and regaining to activate powerful monster, spell, and trap effects while Synchro monsters help regain the life points lost.
Character Skill: Hyper Assault: Target 1 monster with "/Assault Mode" in its card name in your hand, you can send 1 Set "Assault Mode Activate" and 1 appropriate Synchro monster from the field to the graveyard, special summon that monster ignoring summoning conditions.
(For later on the RP) Super Synchro Fusion - Once per turn, you can treat Miracle Synchro Fusion as a Quick-Play Spell card if it's Set on your Spell/Trap Card Zone. Your opponent cannot activate cards or card effects in response to this effect.
Personality: He is a hardened duelist who battles with his heart to gain his own power and surpass it. He chooses to go against the D.E.S. and fights to surpass what it gives. He believes if he can, anyone can. Willing to teach anyone who desires to seek strength from within and not from the D.E.S. Outside of dueling however, he is kind to others and believes in teamwork as the true way to move forward.
Biography: After losing his home and family by the D.E.S. unstable power, he has grown a hatred for it and those who rely too much on that power. For that, Shin absolutely refuses to use that power for his own personal growth. He gained his power by his own means and sees the power given by the D.E.S. as unnatural and unnecessary. He fights to show people that they don't need to depend on such a dangerous, unpredictable power. Deep down, he feels an unknown power locked within. A power that can only come out if he can achieve a perfect state of mind, only then can he truly feel like he surpassed the need for the D.E.S.
